MWC 2025: TECNO CAMON 40 Pro 5G is one of the top under USD 600 photography phone at DxOMark
At MWC 2025, TECNO Mobile announced that the new CAMON 40 Pro 5G has been rated as one of the highest rated photography phones at DxOMark under USD 600 (around PHP 34K).

According to the company, the device recorded a Camera score of 138 points, one of the highest in its class.
TECNO also claims that it is ranked No. 1 in DxOMark's Global Photography Ranking Under USD 600 and is the first smartphone of 2025 to receive a DxOMark Smart Choice Label.
In particular, it has a Photo score of 146 besting even the Google Pixel 7 with 145.
DxO said that it can take stunning portraits with natural and pleasant skin tones and has strong low-light capabilities for night photography.

To recap, the device is packed with a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP selfie shooter. For selfies, it uses a 50MP shooter. The handset is powered by MediaTek's 4nm Dimensity 7300 Ultimate 5G-ready AI chip.
The CAMON 50 Series features the AI-driven FlashSnap mode, seamlessly integrates with a powerful camera and a handy One-Tap Button, allowing users to instantly capture life's moments.
According to TECNO, it uses AI to optimize camera startup and continuous shooting for instant captures, while AI-powered multi-frame processing reduces noise and enhances details for sharper images.
Moreover, the BestMoment AI algorithm intelligently analyzes motion patterns, automatically identifying and selecting the best frames to ensure precise captures in dynamic scenarios, offering users an "unprecedented imaging experience".
