TECNO and DxOMark unveil first world's first fully automated Camera V6 imaging lab

Fast-rising smartphone maker TECNO Mobile, together with DXOMARK labs, earlier unveiled the first fully automated Camera V6 imaging lab.

According to the company, the TECNO DXOMARK Joint Imaging Laboratory sets new standards with automation, inclusivity, and intelligent camera evaluation to drive the future of mobile imaging.

GSMArena reported that the lab is located in Chongqing, China. The lab marks the first implementation of DXOMARK's Camera V6 protocol.

In particular, the lab aims to establish a new imaging evaluation standard through fully automated testing, multidimensional skin tone adaptation, and intelligent regional customization. The Camera V6 implementation helps set benchmarks for testing efficiency, consistency, and objectivity.

The lab uses robotic arms for micron-level positioning and accuracy, fully automated chart switching, and AI-controlled environmental simulation without human intervention.
