The TECNO CAMON 40 Pro 5G recently topped DxOMark's Global Photography ranking under USD 600. Let's take a quick look at its features.

Your next mid-range photography phone?

The phone boasts a 50MP Sony LYT-700C 1/1.56-inch large sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide snapper, and LED flash.

With this setup, the phone earned 138 points for DxOMark's overall ranking and 146 points for photos, even beating the Google Pixel 7 with 145 points.

The device is also capable of producing stunning portraits, along with natural and pleasant skin tones. Moreover, the phone is also able to handle low-light scenarios, making it ideal for night photography, as per DxOMark's claims.

At the back, it boasts three color options such as Galaxy Black, Emerald Lake Green, and Glacier White, with all three featuring the elegant Swan Neck Aesthetics. Additionally, it has IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

In front, it uses a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ 2436 x 1080 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

Inside, the CAMON 40 Pro 5G is equipped with a 2.5GHz 4nm Dimensity 7300 Ultimate 8-core chip with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU.

For battery it has a 5,200mAh capacity and charges using a 45W power brick.

On the selfie side, it uses another 50MP shooter.

Other features mentioned are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound, a One-Tap button for quick access on FlashSnap, and an AI service by Ella.

Connectivity options are 5G, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 15 out of the box.

There's no official pricing at the moment, but TECNO already mentioned it will be sold at under USD 600 (around PHP 34K).
