MWC 2025: What is TECNO FlashSnap?

Back in MWC 2025 last week, TECNO introduced one of its new technologies called the FlashSnap. Let's take a look at what the feature does.

Shoot moving subjects with ease

The new feature available on the TECNO CAMON 40 Series utilizes Artificial Intelligence combined with "cutting-edge" camera technologies, enabling users to capture moving subjects with a single tap of a button.

AI FlashSnap

TECNO states that the feature employs AI to optimize camera startup and continuous shooting for quick captures. Additionally, AI-driven multi-frame processing reduces noise and enhances details, resulting in sharper images.

Furthermore, the BestMoment AI algorithm analyzes motion patterns to automatically identify and select the best frames, ensuring accurate captures in dynamic situations. This aims to provide users with an advanced imaging experience.

One of the devices that uses this is the CAMON 40 Pro 5G, which received a score of 138 points in the camera score at DxOMark.

It has a 50MP main shooter with OIS paired with 8MP ultra-wide snapper and an LED flash. To aid in AI processing, it uses MediaTek's 4nm Dimensity 7300 Ultimate 5G AI SoC.
