A new OnePlus Ace is tipped to arrive with Dimensity 9400+

OnePlus is reportedly making a new upper mid-range with top-tier chip. It may be called the Ace 5V or Ace 5S.

One of the 1st devices with Dimensity 9400+?

It is poised as the successor to the OnePlus Ace 3V, which was launched last year of the same month.

The said upcoming phone is tipped to feature a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED flat panel with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

As one of its rumored highlights, the device comes with a 3nm Dimensity 9400+ chip, also known as MediaTek's upcoming flagship processor. This is reportedly an overclock variant of the Dimensity 9400 with expected incremental speed boost.

Another report suggests OnePlus will replace the Alert Slider with a "new button," although it is still a mystery what function it will bring to the table.

Furthermore, the phone is reported to feature either a 7,500mAh + 80W or 7,000mAh + 100W charging.

For now, there's no clear date yet when the phone will launch, but the said upcoming chip will be introduced by April 11, 2025.
