The Fujifilm X Half design

Half the size, twice the fun

Designed for casual, on-the-go use, the camera features a lightweight body weighing just 240 grams (8.5 ounces) and a compact form factor that blends modern functionality with retro aesthetics.
Small form factor and lightweight too

The X half retains the classic design elements of FUJIFILM’s X Series, including an aperture ring and a Frame Advance Lever, providing a tactile shooting experience reminiscent of traditional analog photography. Its intuitive controls and ergonomic layout enhance usability while maintaining a sleek, portable design.

Key features

The camera introduces an innovative 2-in-1 feature, allowing users to combine vertical stills and movies by simply winding the Frame Advance Lever. Additionally, the dedicated X half smartphone app enables further customization, such as merging selected images, adjusting dividing lines, and swapping left-right compositions.
1-inch type sensor

Equipped with an 18MP 1-inch back-illuminated sensor and a 10.8mm f/2.8 prime lens (equivalent to 32mm in 35mm format), the camera offers a similar angle of view to FUJIFILM’s QuickSnap™ disposable cameras but with digital precision. The 3:4 aspect ratio rear LCD and optical viewfinder are optimized for vertical shooting.

The camera features a dual rear LCD monitor setup with a touch-screen interface for seamless navigation. Settings adjustments, film simulations, and creative filters can be applied effortlessly via the responsive touch controls.

With a long-lasting battery, the X half can capture up to 880 frames on a single charge, making it ideal for extended shooting sessions.
The shutter button and controls

For creative flexibility, the X half includes 13 Film Simulations, replicating the look of classic Fujifilm analog films. It also introduces three new creative filters inspired by film photography: Light Leak (simulating light exposure effects), Halation (a halo effect around light sources), and Expired Film (emulating the grainy texture of aged film). Users can also access eight additional filters from FUJIFILM’s instax™ instant camera series.

A unique Film Camera Mode digitally replicates the experience of using a disposable film camera. Users can select a film simulation and choose a virtual roll size (36, 54, or 72 exposures), then advance the Frame Advance Lever after each shot for an authentic analog feel.

The X Half app allows for easy image management, enabling users to organize photos and videos in galleries or albums, share directly to social media, or print wirelessly to compatible instax™ Link series smartphone printers.

For added film-like aesthetics, the X Half includes a Grain Effect option to apply natural grain textures to photos and videos. A new "Date Stamp" function imprints dates in the bottom-right corner of images, mimicking vintage film prints.
