HONOR MagicBook Pro 16 2025 launched: Intel Core Ultra CPU, up to RTX 5070 GPU

Following the teaser, HONOR unveils its upgraded MagiBook Pro 16 2025 and Hunter Edition for gaming.

HONOR has officially unveiled its MagicBook Pro 16 2025 lineup in China, introducing two distinct variants: a standard model for productivity and a gaming-focused Hunter Edition. While both share a premium design, advanced thermals, and AI enhancements, they cater to different user needs with precision.

Both models feature an all-metal chassis with a sleek profile, measuring just 17.9mm thick and weighing 1.81kg. The standard MagicBook Pro 16 2025 comes in Starry Grey, Midnight Black, and Aurora Blue, with a CNC-machined finish and a new "Meteor Arc" design for a premium look.

The display

The laptops boast a 16-inch IPS display with a 3072 x 1920 resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, and 3ms response time, covering 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut. HONOR has included Oasis Eye Protection and TÜV Rheinland certifications to ensure visual comfort during extended use.

The standard model is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 5-225H or Ultra 9-285H processors, while the Hunter Edition pairs the same CPUs with Nvidia’s newly released GeForce RTX 5070 GPU, featuring 8GB of GDDR7 memory and DLSS 4.0 support.

Memory configurations include 24GB or 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM for the standard version, while the Hunter Edition comes exclusively with 32GB. Both models offer 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.

The Hunter Edition stands out with its advanced cooling system, featuring HONOR's Turbo X tuning suite and Smart Silent Cooling 2.0. It delivers up to 150W performance in Beast Mode while maintaining noise levels as low as 35dB under load and 17dB at idle. 

Both models include Spatial Audio 2.0, which adjusts sound profiles for different content types. The Hunter Edition also offers an AI Game Assistant for performance optimization, noise suppression, and in-game strategy support.

The operating system details have not been specified, but HONOR typically ships its laptops with Windows, likely the latest version.
