OPPO updates Find N5: Improves Gemini, AI Recompose, new soft light photo filters

The OPPO Find N5, one of the best foldable smartphones in the world, recently received an update to further improve its capabilities.

The update with the software version CPH2671_15.0.1.501 brings an updated AI, communication, camera, and system.

In particular, the device now allows users to use voice or text commands to let Gemini complete some tasks, such as setting an alarm, checking on tips, or creating notes.

It also introduced AI Recompose that automatically adjusts the composition, aspect ratio, and color palette. This feature also allows users to apply suggested filters to enhance the images they took.

Moreover, the camera app now has cool-looking soft light filters in photo mode.

For communication, OPPO said that the phone now has improved cable connection stability on Android Auto.

In the system, the company added Scramble! Alarm that can send time-critical reminders of events through Live Alerts, improves the user experience of floating windows, improves system stability, fixes display issues in some scenarios when the user folds or unfolds the phone, and integrates the May 2025 Android security patch.

There is no official confirmation if the company will launch the phone in the Philippine market, but recent OPPO social media posts suggest that its local release day is nearing.
