OPPO Find N5 now official: Ultra-slim foldable, Snapdragon 8 Elite, 50MP 3x zoom camera w/ telemacro

OPPO announces the Find N5 as the world's thinnest foldable on the market yet.

The new king of foldable phones?

The brand flaunts its ultra-slim profile at 4.21mm when unfolded beating the record holder HONOR Magic V3 4.35mm. During folded state, it is 8.93mm or as thin as regular smartphones.

Furthermore, the device weighs at just 229 grams again making it lighter than other booklet folds in the market.

Titanium Flexion Hinge

Despite its lightweight and slim looks, OPPO made sure it would still feel premium like its traditional flagship offering, thanks to the Titanium Flexion Hinge, which allows for a 70 percent stronger inner display. It also has triple IP ratings, such as IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9.

The phone's back features the iconic Cosmos Ring, and on the side, it features an alert slider ring so users can switch between different modes: silent, vibrate, and ring. 

It is available in two colorways: Cosmic Black or Misty White.

The displays of Find N5

The main screen has an ultra-thin nanocrystal-protected 8.12-inch panel, 1-120Hz LTPO refresh rate, 2248 x 2480 resolution at 412 PPI, and up to 2,100 nits peak brightness. OPPO also highlighted its iconic Invisible Crease for that truly immersive viewing experience.

The cover screen uses a 6.62-inch size with 2616 x 1140 resolution at 431 PPI, 1-120Hz refresh rate, 2,450 nits peak brightness, and has ProXDR compatible with Ultra HDR.

Its display also supports the OPPO pen for note-taking and drawing, thus helping you be productive when needed.

Inside, the Find N5 Fold is powered by the 7-core 4.32GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with Adreno, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, 5,600mAh battery with USB-C 80W SUPERVOOC and 50W AIRVOOC support.

The cameras

In the camera department, it has a 50MP f/1.89 Sony LYT-700 main shooter with an OIS + 8MP ultra-wide + 50MP f/2.7 3x telephoto sensor. The latter also supports tele-macro making it the first OPPO device to have such a feature. This setup uses the Hasselblad Master Camera System.

On the selfie side, both the outer and inner screen have 8MP f/2.4 21mm lenses.

Other features noted are a side-mounted fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, and 4x microphones.

For OS, the phone runs Android 15 with ColorOS 15 out of the box. It also supports various AI functions like, AI Clarity Enhancer, Unblur, Reflection Remover, AI Eraser, and AI Studio.

The Find N5 is also capable of controlling your Mac remotely using internet connectivity to further boost users' productivity by allowing them to access presentations, documents, and other files.

It is currently available in Singapore via limited pre-orders starting February 21 to February 27, 2025. Those who pre-ordered from Feb 21 to 23 can claim their devices as early as Feb 24.
