The OPPO Pad SE

To recap, the OPPO Pad SE features an 11-inch LCD with eye-protection soft light screen (matte), 2.4GHz 6nm Helio G100 8-core chip with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 4GB + 4GB dynamic RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, a 9,340mAh battery, and runs on Android 15 with ColorOS 15.0.1.

If you're curious now, let's start unboxing it.

Unboxing/Accessories

OPPO Pad SE unboxing review
The box

The OPPO Pad SE came in a large White box with a Gray fingerprint-like pattern design at the center. While at the top, you'd find the unit's name as well as the stated matte display edition.
Inside the box

Opening it up, you'll be greeted with the OPPO Pad SE tablet, a USB-C cable, and some paperwork for warranty and the user guide.

Unfortunately, it did not come with a charger, but it supports up to a 33W SUPERVOOC adaptor.

While the unit we received from the brand did not include a case, Shopee's pre-order listing indicates that buyers will get a FREE case and an OPPO Enco Buds2, though the earbuds are limited to the first 200 customers only.

OPPO Pad SE design

Upon getting hold of the device, we are impressed with its toughness, thanks to its metal construction.
Slim design

The tablet also boasts a slim design measuring just 7.3mm in thickness and weighing 530 grams.

The color we got here is the Starlight Silver, offering a professional look just like most tablets today. If you prefer a different color, you may also choose the Twilight Blue, which is also visually appealing.

Meanwhile, its back cover has a matte finish as well, which means it doesn't attract fingerprints when holding it.
The display

In front, you'll find the 11.5-inch LCD (IPS) panel with 1920 x 1200 resolution at 206 ppi, 90Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits peak brightness. What made it special is the anti-reflective matte display, cutting 97 percent of glare for a paper-like viewing experience.

In fact, the device is certified by TUV Rheinland for low blue light and flicker-free, guaranteeing users reduced eye strain.

Unlike traditional glossy screens, it minimizes reflections from sunlight and indoor lighting while also resisting fingerprints.
11-inch anti-glare screen

This is particularly beneficial for students who view their notes, attend online classes, or create projects that require a longer time spent in front of the screen.

It goes the same with young professionals on the go who need to edit text, make PowerPoint presentations when they are outside their homes or working areas.

On the left side, it is left blank, while on the right portion, you'll find the volume rockers and a microphone hole specifically placed near the location of the selfie camera, making it usable for video calls.
The top and bottom views

At the top area, you'll find two speakers and a power button, though unfortunately, it doesn't double as a fingerprint reader.

Going to the bottom, you'll find two speaker holes again completing the quad setup, a USB-C port, and a microphone hole.

In terms of camera, it uses an 8MP f/2.0 with AutoFocus at the rear and a 5MP f/2.2 shooter for selfies or video calls.

Productivity features

Among its highlights is the O+ Connect, a capability we first saw from the OPPO Reno 13 Series 5G. This makes it easier for users to seamlessly connect or transmit files from Apple devices like an iPhone or an iPad.

Meanwhile, the tablet also supports cross-device connectivity with an OPPO smartphone, letting users mirror the screen, drag and drop files, and communicate.

Finally, the tablet also boasts AI features powered by Google Gemini; it has an AI assistant for Notes, Intelligent document, AI Clarity Enhancer, AI Unblur, AI Erase, and AI Reflection.

Our thoughts

Currently, the tablet is being offered for PHP 8,299 at OPPO's official Shopee page with a voucher included.

At this price point, you won't find a big screen with a matte display coating. It also features a slim design and tough build quality, a respectable Helio G100 octa-core chip, decent 128GB memory for saving files, and a large 9,340mAh battery along with AI productivity features meant to aid users whether at school or work.

For now, we find it intriguing for an entertainment/productivity tablet. We will test this device further and get back to you for our final verdict.

What do you guys think?
