COMPUTEX 2025: TECNO unveils MEGABOOK S16 flagship w/ DeepSeek-V3, premium slim build

At the ongoing COMPUTEX 2025 event in Taipei, Taiwan, TECNO unveiled its newest flagship laptop called MEGABOOK S16.

MEGABOOK S16 is TECNO's first 16-inch AI flagship work laptop

The TECNO MEGABOOK S16 is the bigger version of the MEGABOOK S14 announced last MWC 2025.

The device boasts a premium all-metal design at just 14.9mm slim and 1.3 kilograms light.

For specs, it uses a large 16-inch FHD screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio, making it great for multitasking, 100 percent sRGB color gamut, and 90 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Inside, the device is powered by the Intel Core i9-13900HK 14-core processor with up to 5.40GHz clock speed and the Intel Iris Xe Graphics. This is still a capable chip, but it is below the new high-end Ultra Core processors of Intel.

Highlights of the TECNO MEGABOOK S16

Thankfully, TECNO aided it with a massive 16GB or 32GB LPDDR5 RAM for smooth multitasking and a 2TB PCIe 3.0 SSD internal storage. The device also has a large 75WHr battery that can last up to 11 hours on a single charge.

Edge AI PC

This elegant yet powerful device excels in AI-enhanced multitasking, enabling effortless task switching and boosting productivity across work, gaming, and creativity. Whether tackling intensive workloads, unleashing creativity, or diving into immersive gaming experiences, this laptop excels in performance.

Other features of the device include a fingerprint power button, a four-level backlit keyboard, DTS:X Ultra audio, and Windows 11 OS.

The laptop also has the company's Edge AI PC with DeepSeek-V3 support, with Personal GPT, enhancing offline capabilities and online AI searches. It also comes with AI Gallery, AI Meeting Assistant, Ella AI Assistant, AI PPT, and AI Drawing—designed to boost productivity and creativity.

TECNO explains that its AI Gallery connects seamlessly with TECNO smartphones for wireless photo backup, smart album creation, and image searches.

Ella AI Assistant, on the other hand, streamlines tasks and manages schedules.

AI PPT localizes and completes presentations efficiently using TECNO AI sources. 

AI Meeting Assistant transcribes meetings in real-time, identifies speakers, and extracts key points, making it invaluable for professionals. 

AI Drawing is designed to foster creativity to enhance the overall user experience of its users.

The device is also equipped with OneLeap to enable multi-screen sharing, file transfer, and cross-device collaboration. It also supports the TECNO Ecosystem powered by the TECNO PC Manager.

There is no word on the price of the device yet. We will update you guys if TECNO introduces it to the Philippine market too.
