The nova 14 Ultra features a premium design with slightly curved edges, maintaining a slim profile at just 7.78mm thick and weighing approximately 204 grams. Additionally, it comes with Floating Gold, White, Flowing Purple, and Obsidian color options. Meanwhile, there's also an optional Kunlun Glass variant for those who prioritize durability.

The device sports a 6.81-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2860 x 1272, 1-120Hz LTPO refresh rate, and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming to reduce eye strain. The panel achieves a peak brightness of 5,500 nits, ensuring visibility in bright conditions while maintaining color accuracy.
The nova 14 Ultra features

While HUAWEI has not officially confirmed the chipset, early reports suggest the nova 14 Ultra is powered by a Kirin-series processor.  HUAWEI claims this chip delivers smooth performance for multitasking, AI photography, and real-time processing.

In terms of memory, the RAM has not been disclosed, but it comes in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.

The phone houses a 5,500mAh battery and supports USB-C 100W SuperCharge Turbo.

For cameras, the setup includes a 50MP main sensor with variable aperture (f/1.4–f/4.0) and OIS +  50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.7x optical zoom and OIS + 13MP ultra-wide macro lens + 1.5MP multispectral color sensor.  Furthermore, all primary sensors use the brand's RYYB color filter.

The front camera consists of a 50MP ultra-sensitive portrait lens and an 8MP zoom lens, enabling 2x optical and 5x digital zoom for selfies.

Others mentioned are a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers with HUAWEI Histen audio enhancement.

The device supports WiFi 7, 4G, Bluetooth 5.2 featuring LDAC and L2HC audio codecs. It also includes NFC for payments and dual-mode satellite messaging via BeiDou and TianTong, enabling text and image-based location sharing. Just like HUAWEI's previous releases, the brand did not mention 5G connectivity.

Finally, the nova 14 Ultra runs HarmonyOS 5, built on Huawei’s Pangu AI model, with DeepSeek integration for enhanced system responsiveness. The OS introduces upgraded AI features, including an improved Celia assistant with natural voice interactions and gesture control. It also offers built-in editing tools such as Magic Eraser and AI Magic Cutout for photo enhancements.
