Following its short teaser, the Infinix GT 30 Pro was announced as the official tournament phone for MPL PH Season 16.

Infinix helped bring high-energy entertainment and gaming innovation to the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Season 15 Playoffs Grand Finals. The event featured thrilling activities, exclusive prizes, and a first look at the upcoming Infinix GT 30 Pro, the official tournament phone for MPL PH Season 16.

To recall, the upcoming gaming phone features an updated design with quad RGB LEDs on the back arranged in a diamond pattern. It comes in three color options: Shadow Ash, Dark Flare, and Blate White. The device has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

The display is a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1,100 nits, and DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.

Internally, the phone is equipped with a 3.35GHz Dimensity 8350 chipset with Mali-G615 MC6 GPU, up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It has a 5,500mAh battery with support for 45W USB-C fast charging.

A dedicated gaming chip helps maintain 120 fps in supported games such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and PUBG Mobile. The phone also includes GT Triggers for enhanced gaming controls, an X-axis linear motor for haptic feedback, and VC cooling with AI thermal detection to manage temperatures.

Demonstrating its strong support for Philippine esports, Infinix hosted the MPL Alamat Awards, honoring standout players and teams from the season. The All-Star Team 1 received GT 20 Pro smartphones, awarded by Infinix Philippines Marketing Manager Jelly Buan.

Meanwhile, the Most Improved Player was presented with the Infinix Concept Gaming Phone by Infinix PR Supervisor Irish Del Rosario. These awards underscored Infinix's dedication to recognizing excellence in competitive gaming.

The event kicked off with the Rap Rumble, where top performers won GT Buds and the Infinix Concept Gaming Phone.

The excitement peaked during the Grand Finals as Team Liquid Philippines (TLPH), this season's champions, received the GT Champion Set and even including GT Champion Jackets, GT AI Rings, and GT 30 Pro units—presented by Jelly Buan and Infinix Regional Game Marketing Lead Harry Leonardo.

In a special highlight, Infinix introduced the MGT (My Greatest Teammate) award, celebrating behind-the-scenes leadership. Alston "Sanji" Pabico was voted by his teammates as the heart of their success, earning the GT Trophy and an Infinix Concept Gaming Phone. This award emphasized Infinix's commitment to honoring teamwork and unsung contributions in esports.

Fans enjoyed immersive experiences at the Infinix Experience Booth, testing the GT 30 Pro and participating in mini-games for exclusive merchandise. Gaming streamer Chacha Pega and girl group MNL48 added to the excitement with live appearances and performances.
