Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 launched: SD8 Elite, 120Hz 4-inch cover screen, 50MP Leica cameras, and 5,165mAh battery
Xiaomi started its event in China with the introduction of the new MIX Flip 2 foldable with Leica Cameras, larger cover screen, and larger battery.

Best Xiaomi Flip foldable yet!
Visually, the new MIX Flip 2 looks very similar to the previous generation. What is differnet is several refinements Xiaomi did such as the innovative three-link, four float plate structure that supposedly minimizes the screen crease.

It comes in either Lattice Gold, Shell White, Nebula Purple, or Plum Green. The phone measures 166.89 x 73.8 x 7.57mm and weighs 199 grams.
One of the biggest changes is the the cover screen has grown by 0.1 inch when compared to its predecessor. The inner folding screen remains 6.86 inches, though. The cover screen is a 4.01-inch AMOLED screen with a 1,392 x 1,208 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 120Hz touch sampling rate, and a 3,200 nits peak brightness. It is protected by Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0. While the inner screen is a 6.86-inch AMOLED screen with a 2,912 x 1,224 resolution, a 3,200 nits peak brightness and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. Both panels support the P3 wide color gamut.

Inside the phone are the 3nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, Adreno GPU, Qualcomm AI engine, vapor chamber cooling, 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.1 storage, and 5,165mAh battery with 67W Fast Wired charging and 50W Fast Wireless charging.
At the back are the Leica co-engineered 50MP f/1.7 main camera with Light Hunter 800 sensor, and OIS, and a 50MP f/2.2 115-degree ultra-wide camera with 5cm Super Macro, and LED flash. On the folding screen is the 32MP selfie camera.
Other features include 5G, 4G, NFC, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, BeiDou, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, NavIC, AGNSS, and USB-C.
Lastly, it will run HyperOS 2 out of the box.

There is no word yet on international or Philippine availability and pricing.
