Dyson OnTrac headphones now in PH: 40mm drivers, Aluminum build, 55 hours battery with ANC, and PHP 32,900 only

Dyson Philippines has finally introduced the OnTrac headphones with 40mm drivers, 8 noise-cancelling microphones, and an aluminum build.

The highly anticipated Dyson OnTrac headphones are now listed on the Dyson Philippines website. Its arrival is a bold step for the premium audio market in the country.

The OnTrac is made from a combination of an Aluminum Body, CNC ceramic or anodized Aluminum caps, and microfiber ear cushions. It is 20.1 cm high and 26.1 cm long. The headphones weigh 451 grams. The design of the OnTrac has been certified by the US Ergonomics in 2024, which supposedly means that the headphones are designed for prolonged wear. It is available in either CNC Copper or CNC Black Nickel colorways.

It has custom-built 40mm, 16-ohm neodymium drivers that yield 6Hz to 21kHz frequency response and an ultra-low 0.1 percent distortion at 94dB 1kHz. Around the headphones are 8 Active Noise Cancelling  (ANC) microphones that sample external sound 384,000 times per second, canceling up to 40dB of unwanted noise. It has three ANC modes, including isolation, transparency, or turned off. The 9th microphone is dedicated to telephony, which supposedly offers crystal clear calls and voice commands.

It connects wirelessly through Bluetooth 5.3 with a range of up to 30 feet and is compatible with smartphones, tablets, laptops, and smart TVs. 

Users can control the headphones with the intuitive joystick, the volume control, and via double-tap gestures on the outer cap.

Dyson says that the headphones have a playback time of up to 55 hours with ANC enabled. The brand also says that it takes 3 hours to fully charge the internal battery. It supports quick charge, where 10 minutes of charge yields 2.5 hours of playback.

It is now available for purchase from the Dyson Philippines website. It should arrive at Dyson stores and authorized retailers nationwide soon.

The headphones are expected to have a launch event at the SM Mega Fashion Hall this July 25 to 27, where interested users can try the headphones for themselves.
