Audio industry veteran and leader JBL supposedly raises the bar once again with the introduction of the new JBL Tour One M3 and Tour One M3 Smart Tx. The key difference between the two variants is the first-ever JBL Smart Tx audio transmitter. It acts as a wireless audio transmitter that enables entertainment from any USB-C or analog audio source, such as an in-flight entertainment system, PC, tablet, gaming console, or television. Because it is a direct proprietary wireless connection between the transmitter and the headphones, it significantly improves latency, stability, and call quality. 

The new headphones have an earcup height of 9.98 cm, a width of 7.8cm, and a depth of 1.95cm. It weighs 278 grams and is available in either Black, Blue, or Latte colorways.

The Tour One M3 series comes with 40mm Mica dome drivers and 10 microphones. It has a driver sensitivity of 122, an impedance of 18 Ohms, and a Dynamic frequency of 10Hz to 40kHz.

Key features of the new JBL Tour One M3 Smart Tx

It connects wirelessly through Bluetooth 5.3 and is powered by an internal battery that is rated for 70 hours of playback without Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) or up to 40 hours of playback with ANC. 

The Smart Tx Universal Auracast Audio Transmitter can be used to connect to any audio source (via USB-C or via 3.5mm analog audio jack) and stream to any Auracast-enabled speaker or headphones near you. This includes in-flight entertainment, TV, PC, or gaming console. This makes it incredibly convenient as it allows users to bypass the pairing or re-pairing process with various electronic devices while allowing users to enjoy their analog medium with the headphones through the transmitter.

It features 8-microphone (4 on each cup) True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0 with real-time adjustments, JBL Spatial 360 with Head Tracking, and 24-bit Hi-Res Audio via Bluetooth.

Inside the box is the JBL Tour One M3 Smart Tx, Smart Tx Audio Transmitter, USB-C to USB-C cable, USB-C to Analog 3.5mm cable, a USB-C to USB-A adapter, a carrying case, and documentation.
