Following its teaser last week, the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2" is now official in the Philippines.

Way cheaper than last year's version
Just like its predecessor, this device packs PC-level features made to improve users' productivity on the go and can even be used by designers to create artwork.
The tablet features fresh looks with its Green colorway while maintaining its iconic elegance, thanks to HUAWEI's craftsmanship, as if you are looking at smooth silk.

In front, it still has the 12.2-inch Tandem OLED panel with PaperMatte coating to provide that paper-like surface when writing using its 3rd Gen HUAWEI M-Pencil.
Additionally, the display boasts 2000 nits, 2.8K resolution, and 144Hz refresh for a more fluid and crisp viewing experience.
Moreover, the display is made for longer usage with its anti-sparkle technology, which HUAWEI claims can reduce subtle flickering, an anti-reflection layering which lowers glare,s and a number of Eye Comfort Modes to ensure safety and care for eye health.
Inside, the tablet packs a Kirin T92A octa-core chip and is paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of memory.
It also has a 10,100mAh battery capacity, with HUAWEI claiming it can provide up to 14 hours of power on a single charge and can be fully charged in just 55 minutes with its unspecified USB-C charger.

For cameras, it has 50MP on the rear with f/1.8 aperture and AutoFocus paired with an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor + LED flash. Meanwhile, it uses an 8MP f/2.0 sensor for selfies and video calls.
Other features mentioned are quad-speakers with HUAWEI Sound for immersive audio and 4x microphones for clear voice pick-ups.
Connectivity features are WiFi 7 (2.4GHz/5GHz/6GHz) and Bluetooth 5.2.
For software, the tablet runs on HarmonyOS 4.3 out of the box.
PC-level features on a tablet
As mentioned earlier, it has a PC-level WPS Office Suite for FREE, letting users work on documents, spreadsheets, and presentations with full functionality.
A new Live Multitask feature enables working with up to three apps simultaneously in resizable windows.
For note-taking, the HUAWEI Notes app includes AI-powered handwriting enhancement, symbol search, and customizable templates. The tablet also features an advanced cooling system to maintain performance during extended use.
The tablet comes with GoPaint, HUAWEI's built-in drawing app, which supports 8K canvases and features brushes like the 3D Oil Painting Brush and True-Color Brush for detailed artwork. The HUAWEI M-Pencil (3rd Gen) offers pressure-sensitive input for a natural drawing experience.
GoPaint now includes frame-by-frame animation tools, catering to designers and content creators working on motion graphics or storyboards.
