After its launch last September in Europe, the REDMI Pad 2 Pro is now official in the Philippines.

The display

REDMI Pad 2 Pro arrives in PH

The Redmi Pad 2 Pro features a unibody metal construction and is available in Graphite Grey, Silver, and Lavender Purple. The device also weighs 610 grams and measures 7.5 millimeters in thickness.

It is equipped with a 12.1-inch LCD display that has a 2.5K resolution of 2560 x 1600, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 600 nits. The display also supports Dolby Vision, DC dimming, a reading mode, and wet touch technology.

The bot uses the same 2.7GHz 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor with an Adreno GPU. But their only distinction is their mobile connectivity. Regardless, they bring the same performance.

The price

It is offered in two memory configurations: 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage, and 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, both using LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 technology. Storage is expandable via a microSD card slot supporting up to 2TB.

The device includes a 12,000mAh battery, rated for up to 14.2 hours of video playback, 16 hours of reading, or over 105 hours of music streaming. It supports 33W wired fast charging and can provide up to 27W wired reverse charging.

For imaging, the WiFi model features an 8MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera, while the 5G variant upgrades the rear camera to 13MP. Both configurations support 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second.

Additional features include quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support, dual microphones, and a suite of sensors. Support for a keyboard and stylus is available through separate accessories.

Connectivity options consist of WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. The 5G variant offers connectivity via an eSIM.

The tablet runs on Android 15 with Xiaomi's HyperOS 2, which enables cross-device functionalities such as a shared clipboard, direct phone control, call synchronization, and instant hotspot switching.
