OPPO Reno15 Pro launched: Holographic Lithography design, 200MP main sensor, 50MP 3.5x telephoto

After the teasers, the Reno15 Series goes official in China. In this article we will talk abou the Pro model.

The new device features a design highlighted by "Holographic Lithography", particularly on the Starlight model where a bow on the back cover appears to dance when rotated. 

The phone uses high-gloss ice-clear glass that resists fingerprints and combines a cold-carved glass back with a starlight mirror group, all framed by textured metal.

Furthermore, it offers a  comprehensive dust and water resistance rating combining IP66, IP68, and IP69 standards. 

In front, OPPO Reno15 Pro is equipped with a 6.78-inch flat OLED display offering a 1.5K resolution of 2772 x 1272, 1-120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a local peak brightness of up to 3,600 nits. It is protected by OPPO Crystal Shield Glass and includes 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

The features

Inside, the Reno15 Pro is powered by the 3.25GHz 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8450 octa-core chip with Mali-G720 MC7 GPU. The device offers configurations of 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage.

It is powered by a 6,500mAh battery that supports 80W wired SUPERVOOC fast charging. The Pro model also includes 50W AIRVOOC wireless fast charging capability.

The camera system includes a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP 3.5X periscope telephoto camera with OIS. For selfies, there is a 50MP autofocus front camera. Both front and rear cameras are capable of 4K video recording at 60 frames per second.

Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, an infrared senso, and stereo speakers.

For connectivity, the Reno15 Pro supports WiFi 6, 5G networks, Bluetooth 5.4, and various navigation systems including Beidou, GPS, and GLONASS. It uses a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.

The device runs on Android 16 with the ColorOS 16 interface.
