OPPO Reno15 launched: Dimensity 8450, 6.32-inch OLED, 200MP main camera

Apart from the OPPO Reno15 Pro, the brand also introduces the base model Reno15.

The device shares its core performance DNA with the Pro model while offering a more compact form factor.

The Reno15 features a design philosophy centered on holographic lithography, creating a dynamic visual effect on the back panel. It is offered in color options including Brown and Aurora Blue, all utilizing high-gloss ice-clear glass that is transparent and resistant to fingerprints. The construction also incorporates a textured metal frame for a cohesive feel.

The device also carries a robust dust and water resistance rating, combining IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications.

In front, the phone features a 6.32-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2640 x 1216, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of up to 3,600 nits.

It is also protected by OPPO Crystal Shield Glass and incorporates 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for enhanced eye comfort.

Driving the performance is the  3.25GHz 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8450 4nm octa-core processor and is paired with a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU. 

The Reno15 is available with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, alongside storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB based on UFS 3.1 technology.

Powering the device is a 6,200mAh battery, which supports USB-C 80W wired SUPERVOOC fast charging for rapid power replenishment.

The camera system is also comprehensive, headlined by a 200MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) +  50MP ultra-wide camera with a 112-degree field of view + 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto lens, also equipped with OIS. 

For selfies and video calls, a 50MP front-facing camera is included, with all cameras supporting 4K video recording at 60 frames per second.

Additional features include an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for security, an infrared remote control sensor, and stereo speakers. 

Connectivity options encompass 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and multiple satellite positioning systems including Beidou, GPS, and GLONASS. A USB Type-C 2.0 port handles charging and data transfer.

The OPPO Reno15 runs on the Android 16 operating system with ColorOS 16 skin on top.
