Xiaomi 17 Ultra confirmed to launch on December 25

After the initial teaser, the company now reveals the official launch date for Xiaomi 17 Ultra.

A Christmas launch for Xiaomi

According to its official weibo page and promotional teasers, the upcoming camera flagship is going to debut on December 25.

Furthermore, official teasers revealed the phone will feature a triple-rear camera setup and will be offered in three color variants: White, Black, and a new Starry Green option.

The Starry Green model incorporates mineral particles on its rear panel to achieve a metallic finish. Xiaomi has also confirmed several design elements, including a flat display, segmented volume buttons, and a body thickness of 8.29mm.

According to industry expectations, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 system-on-chip. 

Rumored camera details include a 1-inch type main sensor and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, with upgraded LEICA optics. 

Finally, a global launch for the device is anticipated in the coming months.
