The safe smartphone for kids

As the title suggests, the device is specifically designed for a younger audience and follows the recent launch of the HMD Touch 4G, which combined smartphone capabilities with a feature phone form factor.

While full specifications and pricing have not yet been released, the XploraOne shares a similar compact design with the Touch 4G.

It features a front-facing touchscreen, a selfie camera, and a home button. The back panel includes a single camera sensor and an LED flash. Physical controls include a SIM slot on the left side, a power button and volume rocker on the right, and an additional button alongside a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top edge.
Kid-friendly device

Confirmed functionalities include call handling, along with typed and voice messaging. The device emphasizes parental controls and will not support third-party applications, web browsers, or social media platforms.

Simply, the XploraOne by HMD revolves around important communication, prioritizes less distraction for kids, and limits their usage, unlike what a traditional smartphone does.

Further details are expected from HMD and Xplora in the near future.

  1. smash karts unblocked is pure mayhem. Players control small, colorful karts and battle in compact arenas where the goal isn’t to finish first—it’s to survive and score eliminations.
