Tech giant HUAWEI formally launched the MatePad 11.5 (2026) Dynamic Edition in the Philippines, the company's newest 4-in-1 tablet for less.

At PHP 19,999, the device is even more affordable than the HUAWEI MatePad 12 X 2026 (PHP 37,999 SRP).

Could it provide a PC-like experience?

According to the company, the new tablet is built for students, young professionals, and multitaskers. It promises to deliver a PC-like experience with powerful tools, detachable keyboard support, and all-day portability.

This 4-in-1 device could be a tablet, a laptop, a note-taking device, and a creative sketchpad, among others.

It arrived in a sleek all-metal unibody with an anodized finish and a 1.5-inch FullView Vibrant display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and crisp 1.5K 2456 x 1600 resolution. Inside, it has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Despite its slim 6.1mm profile and light 515-gram weight, the MatePad 11.5 packs a 10,100mAh battery good for over 14 hours of video playback. Charging is fast with 40W SuperCharge—full power in about 94 minutes, or hours of use with just a 30-minute top-up. 

Moreover, it has quad speakers and claims to have a strong WiFi signal.

In the software department, the tablet has WPS Office 2.0, letting users create documents, crunch spreadsheets, and design presentations without a laptop. For note-taking, HUAWEI Notes offers AI handwriting enhancement that converts scribbles into polished text, plus customizable papers, covers, stickers, and brushes to match different workflows.

HUAWEI said that when paired with the Smart Keyboard and mouse support, navigation feels familiar and efficient, like a laptop.

Multitasking is seamless with Floating Multi-Window, App Twin, and SuperHub for drag-and-drop file transfers across devices.

It also has a stylus support that benefits from magnetic wireless charging.
