Is this the POCO X8 Pro Max for global?

The company released new promotional material today, confirming design elements and battery capacity.

The images reveal the REDMI Turbo 5 Max will feature a large OLED display with rounded edges and slim bezels. The rear panel houses a vertical dual-camera array, maintaining a design language similar to its predecessor but with apparent refinements.

A major confirmed detail is the 9,000mAh battery. While REDMI has not officially mentioned charging speeds, the device's 3C certification indicates potential support for USB-C 100W wired charging. There is no indication of wireless charging support from current rumors or certifications.

The device will be powered by the new Dimensity 9500s chipset. It has appeared on performance benchmarking platforms, registering a score of approximately 3.29 million on AnTuTu and listing 16GB of RAM with Android 16 on Geekbench.

Camera specifications have not been disclosed. Industry observers suggest it may retain a dual-camera system consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP secondary sensor, matching the previous model.

In related developments, POCO, a brand under the same corporate umbrella, is reportedly preparing the POCO X8 Pro Max for global markets.

While its full information are not public, it is widely speculated to be a global variant of the REDMI Turbo 5 Max. The POCO model is anticipated to launch internationally within the current quarter.
