REDMI Turbo 5 Series confirmed for January 29 launch

After the initial teasers, REDMI now confirmed the official launch date for its Turbo 5 Series.

REDMI has announced the launch date for its upcoming Turbo 5 smartphone series in China. The devices are scheduled to debut on January 29.

According to a company post on Weibo, the event will introduce both the REDMI Turbo 5 and the Turbo 5 Max models. The launch will also include the Redmi Buds 8 Pro and a Harry Potter Edition of the Pad 2 Pro.

The company shared preliminary design details for the series, stating the phones will feature a CNC metal frame, rounded corners, and a fiberglass rear panel with a dual-LED flash.

For the higher-end Turbo 5 Max model, two color options were shown: Ocean Breeze Blue and Sunrise Orange. Key details confirmed for the Max variant include the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, a 9,000mAh battery, and support for 100W wired charging.
