Xiaomi outs Sound 2 Pro HiFi speakers launched: 40W mid-woofer + 20W tweeter, and premium metal build

Apart from the REDMI Soundbar 2 Pro, Xiaomi also introduces the Sound 2 Pro HiFi speakers.

Xiaomi has expanded its audio portfolio with the launch of the Sound 2 Pro, a premium bookshelf speaker positioned between its flagship and entry-level models.

The device features a full metal enclosure, a design language consistent with the larger Sound 2 Max, but in a more compact form factor. 

The features

Its acoustic architecture employs a two-way crossover system with dedicated drivers: a 40W mid-woofer for bass and mid-range frequencies and a 20W tweeter for highs, for a combined 60W of output.

Connectivity is a key focus, with the Sound 2 Pro supporting both Bluetooth 5.2 for direct streaming and WiFi 6 for integrated multi-room audio over a home network.

Physical inputs include RCA and USB-C ports, allowing it to connect to televisions, computers, and other audio sources. The speaker supports multi-unit pairing, enabling users to link up to four units for synchronized or stereo playback.

As part of Xiaomi’s ecosystem, the speaker integrates seamlessly with devices running the company's HyperOS.
