HUAWEI FreeBuds 7i now official in PH: Promises best-in-class ANC, as low as PHP 3,699 intro price

On schedule, tech giant HUAWEI today revealed the official price of the FreeBuds 7i in the Philippines.

The new HUAWEI FreeBuds 7i is now available at Shopee, Lazada, and HUAWEI Store Online for PHP 4,499. 

However, those who purchase it now, during the promo period, will receive it at an early bird price of just PHP 3,699, along with a voucher. Moreover, it comes with a FREE Stainless Steel Thermos and HUAWEI Loss Care worth PHP 1,198.

Key features of HUAWEI FreeBuds 7i

To recap, the new HUAWEI FreeBuds 7i claim that the HUAWEI FreeBuds 7i have the strongest ANC for blocking noise in its class. Its Intelligent Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) 4.0 technology promises to provide an average full-band noise reduction depth of 28dB up to 55dB. It also has an ANC response time under 0.5 seconds, thanks to an 8mm² rear vent and a large air guide cavity.

The design uses an ergonomic shape with an arc-shaped stem and four sizes of eartips, including a new extra-small option, as well as an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, making it usable even for workouts.

Inside, it has an 11mm quad-magnet dynamic driver. It also has Hi-Res Audio certification, indicating that it can produce high-quality audio playback.

The company also added the so-called Unlimited Spatial Audio with head tracking, powered by a built‑in Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). The company notes that this feature is supported on both iOS and Android devices.

For call clarity, the device incorporates a six-microphone system and a bone-conduction Voice Pickup Unit (VPU), supported by AI call noise reduction algorithms.

The device could be controlled with touch controls and head gesture recognition for answering or rejecting calls.

The earbuds and the case

It connects with Bluetooth 5.4 with pop-up and pair and dual-device connectivity. The buds are compatible with Android and iOS.

Each bud has 55mAh capacity with up to 8 hours of battery for each bud with ANC off. With ANC on, it can last for up to 5 hours. In its case, witha  510mAh capacity, the max usage time is 35 hours.
