OnePlus 15T launched: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 7,500mAh battery, and bypass charging

As scheduled, the OnePlus 15T goes official alongside its magnetic accessories.

Compact gaming powerhouse

The device is marketed as a mini flagship model that features a stylish design available in three color options: Healing White Chocolate, Pure Cocoa, and Relaxing Matcha. 

Furthermore, it uses IP ratings of 66, 68, and 69 K for enhanced protection against dust and water.

The OnePlus 15T  is equipped with a 6.32-inch 1.5K AMOLED display featuring a 165Hz adaptive refresh rate and ultra-slim 1.1mm symmetrical bezels. 

The display

It incorporates advanced luminous materials for improved brightness, achieves a minimum brightness of 1 nit for low-light viewing, and includes 3840Hz PWM dimming with low-blue-light certification. The screen is protected by OPPO Crystal Shield Glass.

Inside, the OnePlus 15T is powered by the 4.6GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, delivering an AnTuTu score of over 4.45 million. 

It supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, paired with a 5150mm² vapor chamber cooling system. 

There's also a triple-chip gaming system integrated to enhance performance, connectivity, and signal strength. 

The features

OnePlus says its new game engine enables native 144FPS gameplay in Honor of Kings at maximum settings, along with native 165Hz gameplay in titles such as PUBG Mobile and Valorant Mobile, with full-frame support for numerous popular games.

Despite its compact size, the OnePlus 15T houses a 7,500mAh Glacier battery. It supports 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, bypass charging for gaming, and reverse charging in both wired and wireless formats.

For photography, the device features a dual-camera system branded as LUMO Imaging. 

This includes a 50MP Sony main sensor with optical image stabilization and a 3.5x periscope telephoto lens with optical image stabilization, offering up to 7x optical-quality zoom. 

The telephoto lens provides an 85mm equivalent portrait focal length suited for professional-grade portraits. The camera supports 4K live photos, Master Mode, and various film-style presets. A 16MP lens on the front handles selfies.

It also features a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers.

Connectivity options include WiFi 7, 5G, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

The device runs on Android 16 with ColorOS 16, bringing a new gaming assistant, cross-device connectivity, and improved AI capabilities. OnePlus promises five years of software support, including four major OS updates.
