For customers in Iran, Globe is providing load support or bill adjustments to help offset connectivity costs during this period. Assistance will be administered through account credit adjustments tied to usage patterns while connected to roaming partners such as MTN Irancell.
For PLDT, there are free calls to the Philippines for Pinoys in Iran, Israel, Iraq, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia through the TinBo app (via Smart Virtual Number), according to an ABS-CBN report.
PLDT, Smart, and TNT subscribers in the Philippines can also call their loved ones in those countries for free until March 7.
Overseas Filipinos can also call the Smart crisis hotline at +63288457799 to reach their loved ones in the Philippines. Calls are free, and the line is open 24/7.
