Chinese tech firm vivo today formally launched the X300 Ultra.

The vivo X300 Ultra is the company's newest top-tier camera-first smartphone, boasting some of the strongest imaging hardware around.
The ZEISS-branded camera hardware
For the main camera, it uses a 200MP Sony LYT901 f/1.85mm 35mm main shooter. This is a pretty large 1/1.12" sensor and comes with 1G+6P coating to reduce reflectivity by 20% and CIPA 6.5 professional stabilization.
This is paired with a 200MP f/2.67 ISOCELL HP0 sensor w/ 85mm zoom, with faster AF and a 3° Gimbal-Grade OIS with CIPA 7.0 stabilization rating.
It also has a 1/1.28-inch 14mm ultra-wide shooter and a 50MP True Color Lens with 12 spectral channels for pixel-level color accuracy.

Moreover, the phone uses "teleconverters" called the "Lipstick 200" 200mm 8.7x and "Cannon 400" 400mm 17.4x teleconverters.
It also has full focal length OIS, which means all cameras get optical stabilization and multi-focal 4K 120fps 10-bit Log video support, compatible with ACES pro post production.

The new phone features a 6.82-inch Ultra XDR AMOLED screen w/ 1-144Hz refresh rate and 3168 x 1440 resolution, a 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, 16GB/1TB storage options, a 6,600mAh battery with Type-C 100W + 40W wireless charging, and satellite communication support.
It runs with Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box.
