HUAWEI Watch FIT 5 Series: Advanced health tracking, 3000 nits display, 10-day battery

Upgraded wearables w/ advanced health monitoring

The new series of watches comprises Watch Fit 5 and Watch Fit 5 Pro.

Both models retain a familiar design language, though the Fit 5 Pro features slimmer bezels accommodating a larger 1.92-inch AMOLED touchscreen with 2.5D sapphire glass and 3,000 nits peak local brightness. 

The standard Fit 5 carries a 1.82-inch AMOLED display rated at 2,500 nits. Both watches support Always-On Display watch faces and include two buttons, a digital crown, and a shortcut button, positioned on the right side.

The other colors

The watches share aluminum midframes, while the Watch Fit 5 Pro adds a titanium bezel. Both are equipped with updated 6 LED and 6 PPG optical heart rate modules and temperature sensors, with the Pro model adding ECG and depth sensing capabilities. 

Both carry a 5 ATM water resistance rating, and the Pro is additionally certified for freediving to depths of up to 40 meters.

Activity tracking includes a range of sports modes and an updated cycling mode. Chinese variants of both models feature dual-band GNSS positioning, NFC, and Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, though international specifications have yet to be confirmed.

Each watch includes an onboard microphone, speaker, and a voice recorder function. HUAWEI states battery life reaches seven days under normal usage, up to 10 days with lighter use, and four days with AOD enabled. Both charge via a proprietary magnetic puck.
