Users only have 15 minutes to edit the comment they posted.
Only the text part can be edited
Instagram now allows its users to edit their comments after they post them.
This means there is no longer a need to delete the comment itself, which requires users to redo the whole commenting process.
The Edit button is located below the comment you make. If you want to edit your comment, tap it, apply the changes, then tap the blue check to publish the updated version.
Users only have 15 minutes from posting to edit their comment. Also, if the posted comment has a photo, only the text part can be edited.
The updated comment will have an "Edited" label, but other users will not see the version history.
