New EV competitor to shape the industry in PH?
As mentioned above, Inchcape Philippines is the exclusive distributor of the Chinese automotive brand "Changan", which is currently presenting six new vehicle models at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2026.
In case you are interested in viewing the latest generation electric cars, you may check them out from April 9 to 12 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
The company also launched its new campaign, "Drive Smart, Drive Changan," positioning its lineup as options suited to various driving needs, from daily urban commutes to recreational and off-road use.
Visitors at the Changan booth will be able to test drive select models, including the All-New Eado Plus, CS35 Max, Nevo Hunter 4x2 REEV, and Nevo Q05 iD PHEV, alongside booth activities, promotional offers, and raffle prizes.
Changan displayed the following six vehicles across different segments:
- Lumin BEV - A compact battery-electric vehicle designed for city use, priced at PHP 699,000 for the S variant and PHP 799,000 for the L variant.
- Nevo Q05 PHEV - A plug-in hybrid compact SUV with two variants: SE at PHP 1,259,000 and iD at PHP 1,449,000.
- All-New CS35 Max - A compact crossover targeting young professionals and active drivers, which is available in two variants: Lite DCT at PHP 1,109,999 and Luxe DCT at PHP 1,199,999.
- Nevo Hunter K50 REEV - A range-extended electric pickup truck offered in 4x2 (PHP 1,699,000) and 4x4 (PHP 1,970,000) configurations.
- New CS55 Plus (Preview) - An electrified crossover previewed at the show, with a full launch expected in late 2026. Pricing not yet announced.
- All-New Eado Plus - A midsize sedan marketed as a refined option for everyday use. Pricing was not disclosed.
Again, you may head to the Manila International Show (MIAS) 2026 at the World Trade Center, starting April 9 to 12, to experience Changan's latest car innovations.
