OPPO K15 Pro announced: Dimensity 8500, built-in cooling fan, and IP69 rating

The new phone is available with a refreshing yet subtle cyberpunk-inspired design. It comes with Cyber Wings, Light Dust Pink, Origin Gray, and Golden Legend colorways.

The design also includes hardware customization options. The rear camera module, an ultra-thin card-sized unit with a metal frame protruding less than 0.6 mm, accommodates DIY magnetic lens caps for personalized styling. Additionally, the device features a fully upgraded LanYing breathing light with customizable color effects that correspond to the phone’s status and current operating mode.

Moreover, it has an IP69 dust and water resistance rating and has undergone multiple durability tests.

The OPPO K15 Pro features a 6.59-inch OLED with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1.5K 2760 x 1256 resolution, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 1,200 nits peak brightness.

The features

Inside, it is powered by the 3.4GHz 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SUPER octa-core chipset with Mali-G720 MC8 GPU. It is also paired with OPPO's proprietary Tide Engine for performance optimization.

The device incorporates an active cooling fan alongside a large VC heat dissipation plate, an area OPPO has highlighted as part of its design to help maintain consistent performance during extended gaming sessions.

The phone is equipped with a 7,500mAh battery and supports USB-C 80W fast charging. It also includes bypass charging and a dedicated battery management chip.

For photography, the K15 Pro features a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) + 8MP ultra-wide lens and 16MP front-facing camera.

Other features are 4x coaxial speakers for immersive listening. Another highlight is the Lingxi button for customizable multi-location button mapping.

Connectivity features are WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, NFC, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 16 with ColorOS 16.
