PLDT Home is waiving installation fees and providing speed boosts to subscribers as some companies shifted to remote work amid surging oil prices.
PLDT supports WFH setup
This supports the government’s call for the private sector to embrace flexible work schemes anew, as consumers face rising fuel prices since the war in the Middle East broke out last February 28.
To ensure an uninterrupted digital connection, PLDT is offering new subscribers of its Home Fiber Plan 1299 and above a free speed boost of up to 2x faster for six months.
Customers will also not be required to pay the PHP 3,600 installation fee.
Not ready for long-term contracts? There is no need to worry, as PLDT has prepared budget-friendly and flexible options under its Fiber Prepaid services.
It said new load packages now include 100 Mbps and 300 Mbps. To further ease financial burden, PLDT Home expands its load packages with 1-day, 7-day, 15-day, 30-day, and up to 365-day load options.
Fiber Prepaid users can now load for as low as PHP 19.17/day for a 365-day package with speeds of up to 50 Mbps.
Through these moves, the telco giant hopes to empower remote and home-based work setups, supporting Filipinos’ daily productivity.
Filipinos are among the most resilient people in the world, and we want to make it easier for them to navigate today’s challenges, especially amid ongoing global uncertainties. This is why we continue to enhance our fiber products and services to better support the daily digital needs of the Filipino workforce, said Menardo Jimenez, Jr., PLDT chief operating officer and chief technology officer.
