Equipping small businesses with robust infrastructure for digital payments
GCash for Business has been tapped by global fintech platform Pine Labs to integrate Instalment Payment Plan (IPP) offers, rewards, loyalty, and cashback features with the existing merchant acquiring solution of GCash.
Pine Labs, known for its advanced point-of-sale software capabilities, powers one of the largest gift card programs in the Philippines for SM Retail.
According to a statement, this tech-first integration will also support acceptance of multiple modes of digital payments, including card and QR payments, and is expected to give MSMEs in the region a smarter fintech infrastructure.
GCash helps Filipino entrepreneurs grow by giving them simple, reliable ways to accept payments and manage their daily operations. With our collaboration with Pine Labs, merchants can now offer more payment choices and added perks, making it easier for their businesses to expand and serve more customers, said Paul Albano, general manager and head of GCash for Business
Dheeraj Chowdhry, chief business officer - Southeast Asia at Pine Labs, said the collaboration will help the company deliver "high-performance software integrations, smarter payment flows, and powerful value-added services to help merchants in the Philippines scale their businesses.
The partnership reinforces the commitment of both companies to build a fully compliant, robust, scalable, secure, and future-ready fintech ecosystem that can enable millions of merchants to adopt digital payments at the point of sale.
MSMEs can sign up for these solutions at the GCash for Business Portal at business.gcash.com.
