REDMI Watch 6 now in PH: 2K nits display, aluminum frame, 24-day battery, PHP 5,499 SRP

Xiaomi is expanding the international rollout of the REDMI Watch 6 to the Philippines.

The REDMI Watch 6 comes equipped with a 2.07-inch AMOLED display offering a 60Hz refresh rate, 324ppi pixel density, 2mm symmetrical bezels, and an 82% screen-to-body ratio. 

The panel supports a peak brightness of 2,000 nits for outdoor use, along with always-on display and raise-to-wake functionality.

The device features a 9.9mm unibody design with an aluminum alloy frame, said to be 1.4mm thinner than its predecessor. Xiaomi notes the construction delivers 20% higher Vickers hardness and a 40% higher yield point compared to the previous generation. The watch includes a raised stainless steel dial and an additional physical button that provides access to the control center, shutdown and restart options, and an emergency contact shortcut when pressed three times.

The features

On battery life, the Redmi Watch 6 houses a 550mAh cell rated for up to 24 days under light use, 12 days with normal use, and seven days under intensive use. A built-in linear motor supports more than 20 vibration patterns for alerts and notifications.

The watch tracks more than 150 sports modes and is rated at 5ATM water resistance. It features independent GNSS with dual L1 antennas compatible with five satellite systems, with automatic antenna switching based on wrist orientation for improved accuracy.

Health monitoring capabilities include continuous heart rate and blood oxygen tracking, stress and sleep analysis, breathing exercises, abnormal heart rate alerts, low blood oxygen vibration alerts, and women's health management tools.
