Trump T1 finally ships—a rebranded Chinese phone with design changes from the earlier announcement

After about months of delay, the Trump T1 smartphone has reportedly started shipping in the United States.

The device was originally scheduled to be shipped in August or September 2025, but shipments began in May 2026.

Reportedly, about 590,000 customers paid a USD 100 deposit (around PHP 6.1K), generating an estimated USD 59 million (around PHP 3.6 billion).

Not only that, the phone looks totally different from what they originally announced.

Instead of having a gold-colored iPhone look, it now has a dated Android phone design with a vertically aligned triple-camera setup and a 3D curved display.

Thankfully, specs have been slightly updated. The Trump T1 now highlights a 50MP main camera + 8MP ultra-wide + 50MP 2x tele camera instead of the original 50MP + 2MP + 2MP. The selfie camera is now at 50MP as well, not 16MP.

The display is a 6.78-inch, 3D-curved, 120Hz AMOLED. Inside, it is powered by an unspecified type of Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 processor paired with 512GB of internal storage. It also has a 5,000mAh battery and Type-C 30W quick charge.

The phone also has a fingerprint sensor (probably In-Display) and AI Face Unlock tech.

It runs on an unspecified version of Android OS.

Originally, Trump Mobile promised that the phone was proudly designed and built in the United States. But now, its marketing has shifted to "designed with American values."

Based on its look, it appears that this is a rebranded REVVL 7 Pro 5G (a T‑Mobile budget Android phone made in China), which sells for much less than the Trump T1 USD 499 price tag (around PHP 30.7K).

The unlimited 5G plan costs USD 47.45/month, referencing Trump’s 45th and 47th presidencies.
