Apple's WWDC26 set from June 8 to 12—to showcase AI breakthroughs and more

US tech firm Apple earlier confirmed that the company will be holding the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC26) on June 8 to 12, 2026.

WWDC26 is set for June 8 to 12

The event dubbed "Coming bright up" is expected to showcase Apple's major platform updates, AI advancements, and new developer tools. It will also feature over 100 sessions, will welcome more than 1,000 developers, have in‑person celebrations at Apple Park, and join Group Labs.


Group Labs will feature live online Q&A sessions with Apple engineers covering Apple Intelligence, design, graphics, games, and machine learning.

Apple is also expected to introduce expanded frameworks and APIs to empower app creation.

WWDC26 special programs include the Apple Design Awards with 36 finalists across categories like Delight and Fun, Inclusivity, Innovation, Interaction, Social Impact, and Visuals and Graphics.

There is also a Swift Student Challenge to honor 350 winners—50 of whom will join a three‑day Cupertino experience.

To those who do not know, WWDC is Apple's biggest annual event for developers, which usually unveils the future of iOS, macOS, watchOS, and iPadOS. Naturally, iOS 27 is expected to be revealed.

The opening keynote will happen on June 8, 10 AM PDT (1:00 AM Philippine Standard Time).

The event will be streamed on Apple.com, the Apple TV app, and YouTube. Updates will also be shared via LinkedIn, WeChat, and bilibili.
