The "telephoto master" is coming


In a recent Facebook post, Xiaomi Philippines revealed its key visual with Gabbi Garcia holding the Xiaomi 17T Pro. It confirmed that the mystery Xiaomi phone that the company teased in their local stores is the Xiaomi 17T Series.

The same post had the caption "Effortless elegance meets next level innovation. Gabbi Garcia with the all-new #Xiaomi17Series. Officially launching in the Philippines on May 29, 4:00 PM. Stay tuned."

Another post revealed live units of the phones. It showed that the Xiaomi 17T will feature a more compact 6.59-inch AMOLED screen, while the Xiaomi 17T Pro has the bigger 6.83-inch AMOLED panel.


Both phones feature a cleaner, lower-profile design with a premium brushed build and up to 120x AI Ultra Zoom and Leica Live Moment.

Reports are claiming that the Xiaomi 17T is allegedly expected to feature a Dimensity 8500 Ultra, a 6.59-inch 120Hz OLED, and a 6,500mAh battery.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17T Pro is allegedly expected to come with the Dimensity 9500, a 6.83-inch 144Hz OLED, and a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

For cameras, both models are allegedly expected to come with a 32MP selfie camera, a 12MP rear ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP 5x telephoto camera. This 5x camera is the main focus and the source of its tagline of "The Telephoto Master."

Where the cameras differ is in the main camera. The Xiaomi 17T is allegedly expected to come with a 1/1.55-inch Light Fusion 800 sensor, while the Xiaomi 17T Pro is allegedly expected to come with a 1/1.31-inch Light Fusion 950 sensor.

Rumored pricing

Alleged leak information claims that Xiaomi 17T will be priced at PHP 33,999 for the 12GB/256GB version and PHP 37,999 for the 12GB/512GB edition. The higher-end Xiaomi 17T Pro is said to retail for PHP 45,999 for the 12GB/256GB storage and PHP 47,999 for the 12GB/256GB storage.

Take these details with a grain of salt until Xiaomi Philippines official announcement on Friday, May 29, 2026.
