DJI Osmo Pocket 4P now official in the Philippines: Dual Cameras, 3-axis Gimbal, FrameTap remote, and starts at PHP 37,790

The new Pocket 4P and the base Pocket 4 visually look similar, save for the larger camera module and gimbal. This is reflected in weight, as the Pocket 4P weighs 230 grams, compared to the Pocket 4's 190 grams. It measures 159.5 x 63.3 x 33.5mm.

The key upgrade is the dual-camera setup, which features a 20mm f/2.0 wide-angle camera with a 1-inch CMOS sensor and a 60mm f/1.8 3x optical telephoto camera with a 1/1.28-inch CMOS sensor that can be extended to 12x hybrid zoom. It is capable of capturing up to 4K 240fps slow motion, standard 4K 60fps recording, and HDR recording in select modes.

DJI is claiming that the main sensor's footage offers up to 17-stops of dynamic range and that the Pocket 4P supports 10-bit D-Log 2. It can capture up to 37MP single-shot still images. The photo mode also supports Panoramas.

The camera sits on a 3-axis mechanical gimbal with a max controllable speed of 180 degrees per second, and has a controllable range: Wide pan, tilt, and roll.

It features the same 2-inch rotatable OLED screen with a 556 x 314 resolution and up to 1,000 nits of brightness. Around the Pocket 4P are 3 microphones for high-quality directional recording.

Powering the Pocket 4P is a 1,545mAh battery that is rated for 210 minutes of run time depending on the recording mode. It supports fast charging from 0 to 80 percent in 18 minutes via USB-C. It takes 32 minutes to fully charge the device.

The footage is recorded either to the 103GB of internal storage or to the microSD card slot. Additional features include Advanced Smart Follow, Active Track 8.0, WiFi, USB 3.1, gesture control, in-camera timecode, magnetic fill-light, and more.

The Standard Combo includes the Osmo Pocket 4P, Magnetic Fill Light, Handle with 1/4-inch thread, Portable Carrying Pouch, USB-C to USB-C PD Cable, Gimbal Clamp, and Wrist Strap.
