Global OPPO Reno16 5G and Reno16 Pro 5G announced: Compact 6.32-inch displays, powerful cameras, plenty of AI
After launching the Reno16 Series in China, OPPO today launched its global counterparts with different configurations.

The new phones arrived with an option for the 3D Pop Planet Design available in Pop White. Reno16 Pro is also available in Starlight Black, while the Reno16 features Twilight Violet Dream Purple colors.
The two have identical measurements and weight as well.
Unlike the Chinese Reno16 Pro, the Global Reno16 Pro 5G has a compact 6.32-inch AMOLED screen with up to 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The Reno16 has the same screen size and resolution, but only up to a 120Hz refresh rate.
Inside, the Global Reno16 Pro is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8550 SUPER processor instead of the more powerful Dimensity 9500s in China. Meanwhile, the Reno16 uses the 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 octa-core processor.
Both also have upgraded batteries. These two are now equipped with a larger 6,700mAh capacity instead of under 6,500mAh. Both support up to Type-C 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging.

In the camera department, the Reno16 Pro has a 200MP f/1.8 main shooter with OIS. The Reno16 uses a 50MP f/1.8 OIS shooter instead. The two phones are loaded with a powerful 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide camera, 50MP 3.5x telephoto, and 50MP selfie cameras.
As expected, the two phones can record up to 4K 60fps videos, with both front and back cameras.

The two load with Android 16 with AI-boosted ColorOS 16. Both have the AI Remix Collage that turns videos and motion photos into dynamic compositions. They can snap, cut out key elements, layer, and style video and motion photo moments. The two don't have wireless charging.
