OPPO announces rising K-pop girl group BABYMONSTER as the new "Reno Girls"

Just a day after teasing its partnership with rising K-pop girl group BABYMONSTER, OPPO today made the collaboration official.

The K-pop group stars in the latest campaign for the smartphone line, highlighting the devices' design and photography features.

BABYMONSTER (Baemon) is a seven‑member South Korean girl group under YG Entertainment, launched in 2024. Members include Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita.

First introduced in China last May 2026, the new OPPO Reno16 Series consists of the vanilla Reno16 and the more premium Reno16 Pro.

These phones bring premium design, powerful cameras, and long‑lasting batteries to the mid‑premium segment. The Reno16 delivers balanced performance with a 200MP triple‑camera setup and 6,700mAh battery, while the Reno16 Pro upgrades to a flagship Dimensity 9500s chip, micro‑gimbal stabilization, a larger 7,000mAh battery, and wireless charging for creators and power users.

We are still not sure if the global versions of these devices that might launch in the Philippines will have the same capabilities.
