OPPO A7 Pro launched: Dimensity 6360 Max, 8,000mAh battery, triple IP ratings

To start, the device is available in three color options: Riding the Waves, Every Step Blossoms, and Desert Brown. On durability, the handset is rated IP66/68/69K for resistance to dust and water under the respective testing standards.

Despite housing an 8,000mAh battery, the device maintains a relatively manageable form factor, measuring 8.8mm in thickness and weighing approximately 205 grams.

The phone features a 6.57-inch flexible OLED display with FHD+ 2,372 x 1,080 resolution. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit color depth, and peak brightness of up to 1,400 nits.

The features

Powering the device is a 2.4GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset. It is paired with 6GB/8GB RAM and 256GB storage. To manage heat during demanding tasks, Oppo has included a 4,300mm² vapor chamber cooling system.

The 8,000mAh battery supports 45W charging, offering a large capacity while keeping the device's overall footprint in check.

On the imaging front, the A7 Pro is equipped with a 50MP f/1.9 autofocus main camera and an 8MP front-facing camera.

Additional features include an in-screen optical fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster for controlling compatible appliances, and a 300% super-volume mode intended to improve audio clarity in its stereo speakers.

In terms of connectivity, the A7 Pro supports WiFi 5, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

The device runs ColorOS 16, based on Android 16, which introduces AI-powered fraud protection features such as scam call warnings, AI face-swap detection, and cross-app protection.
