Anker's Space A40 TWS earbuds are currently down with a huge price cut, making them an affordable Hi-Res audio accessory at Amazon.

Announced back in 2022, the Anker Space A40 features Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC 2.0), which the company says detects ambient noise levels in real time and can reduce outside sound by up to 98%, including engine noise and office chatter.

Among the highlight feature is the Hi-Res Wireless Sound via the LDAC codec, which transmits up to three times more audio data than standard Bluetooth codecs on compatible Android devices, aimed at delivering more detailed playback.

Each earbud weighs 4.9 grams, with a compact design intended to reduce ear fatigue during extended use.

The features

The earbuds carry an IPX4 water-resistance rating, indicating resistance to sweat and light splashes, and are marketed as suitable for workouts and light rain exposure.

Audio is produced through 10mm double-layer drivers built with custom diaphragm materials, which Anker says are designed to balance bass, midrange, and treble output.

Battery life totals up to 50 hours: the earbuds themselves offer up to 10 hours of continuous playback on a single charge (around 8 hours with ANC enabled), with the charging case supplying an additional 40 hours.

Furthermore, a 10-minute charge via USB-C is said to provide up to 4 hours of playback, and the case also supports Qi wireless charging.

The earbuds connect via Bluetooth 5.2 and support dual-device multipoint connection, allowing simultaneous pairing with two devices, such as a laptop and phone, with automatic switching between them.

For calls, a six-microphone array paired with voice-isolation algorithms is intended to reduce background noise and improve voice clarity.

The companion Soundcore app offers a personalized HearID sound profile test, 22 preset equalizer settings, manual EQ adjustment, and a low-latency Game Mode.

Two transparency modes—"Full Transparency" and a localized "Vocal Mode"—allow ambient sound or nearby voices to be heard without removing the earbuds.
