Honoring Top Filipino MSMEs
The awards night concluded a 10-week nationwide search that generated 4,800 public votes and more than 500 nominations across the country. The Top 5 honorees were chosen from a competitive Top 25 shortlist based on a scoring system split between a panel of judges (70 percent) and public voting (30 percent).
According to data from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), MSMEs represent 99.63 percent of all registered businesses in the Philippines and contribute 65.1 percent of total employment nationwide. DITO's BizBayani initiative aims to spotlight the real entrepreneurs behind those impressive statistics.
