HONOR Play 11 Pro launched: 6.6-inch 1.5K OLED, Dimensity 6500 chip, and 7,000mAh battery

HONOR has taken the covers off the Play 11 Pro in China, following the debut of the Play 11 Plus back in May.

The company has quietly listed the new model on its online store, revealing its full details and availability.

The HONOR Play 11 Pro is offered in three color options: Moon Silver, Sunrise Gold, and Midnight Black, though the online listing currently shows only the Midnight Black variant available for reservation. 

Additionally, the device features an integrated metal frame, IP66 dust and water resistance, and SGS five-star drop resistance certification, giving it added durability for a mid-range handset.

The design

On the display front, the phone sports a 6.6-inch 1.5K OLED flat panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 6,500 nits, a 95 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 3840Hz PWM dimming aimed at reducing eye strain during extended use.

Inside is a MediaTek 2.6GHz 6nm Dimensity 6500 chipset with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Notably, the phone does not support microSD card expansion, so buyers are limited to the built-in storage capacity.

The Play 11 Pro is backed by a large 7,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging support, yet HONOR has managed to keep the device relatively slim at 7.34mm thick and 185g in weight. 

The company states that the battery is engineered to retain at least 80 percent of its original capacity after 1,000 charging cycles, which it says translates to roughly six years of sustained use.

For imaging, the phone includes a 50MP primary rear camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

Based on its overall specifications and design, the HONOR Play 11 Pro appears to be a rebranded version of the existing HONOR X80i, a phone already available in other markets.

On the connectivity side, no additional details beyond standard configurations were disclosed in the listing.

But is presumed to feature WiFi, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth, GPS, and dual SIM.

The device ships out of the box with MagicOS 10, built on top of Android 16.
