HUAWEI brings back the SE variant
The nova 16 SE is available in four color options: Starry Black, Sky White, Dawn Orange, and Sakura Sky.

The device features an aluminum alloy frame paired with a fiberglass back panel, measures 7.98mm thick, and weighs 229 grams. It also carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
On the front, the phone sports a 6.84-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 2756 x 1272, a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 8,000 nits of local peak brightness, and 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
Powering the device is the Kirin 8020 chipset, paired with up to 512GB of internal storage.
The Nova 16 SE houses an 8,500mAh battery, supporting 66W wired fast charging.

For cameras, it uses a 50MP main sensor + 1.5MP Red Maple color sensor. On the selfie side, it has a 32MP front camera.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual super-linear 1115 speakers, an IR blaster, and Beidou satellite messaging support.
In terms of connectivity, the phone includes WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and Star Flash 2.0.
The device runs on HarmonyOS 6.1 out of the box.
The HUAWEI nova 16 SE is currently available in China.

The phone is currently available in China. No word yet if HUAWEI will bring this here to the Philippines.
