iPhone Air 2 reported upgrades

The handset will reportedly launch in the first quarter of 2027, bringing upgrades in design, performance, connectivity, cameras, and more, maintaining a super-slim profile.

iPhone Air 2 is expected to be powered by the rumored upcoming TSMC 2nm A20 Pro chip, the same processor that reportedly will power the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

The phone will also have a new N2 wireless networking chip to support WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread while improving the reliability of AirDrop and Personal Hotspot, as well as the Apple C2 modem for 5G mobile network connectivity.

For cosmetic changes, the handset has a new and smaller Dynamic Island.

Like with earlier leaks, the Air 2 is reportedly getting a new 48MP ultra-wide camera apart from its 48MP main shooter. Basically, it will feature a dual-camera setup.
