Moto G Max announced

The device comes in Pantone-curated color options, including Stargazer, Alaskan Blue, and Malaga, offering users a distinctive design choice.

On the display front, the Moto G Max sports a 6.72-inch FHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,050 nits in High Brightness Mode. 

The screen also supports Water Touch 2.0 technology, which is designed to improve touch responsiveness when the display is wet, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic for added durability.

Powering the device is the 2.4GHz 4nm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, paired with 6GB/8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. 

In terms of battery and charging, the Moto G Max houses a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, one of the larger capacities in its segment, along with support for 30W wired charging.

On the imaging side, the phone features a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 primary sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens. A 32MP front camera has been included for selfies and video calls.

Beyond its core specifications, the device also includes stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and retains a 3.5mm headphone jack, catering to users who prefer wired audio. 

It further carries an IP64 rating along with MIL-STD-810H certification, offering resistance to dust, water exposure, and various environmental stress conditions.

The Moto G Max runs on Hello UX, based on Android 16, and Motorola has committed to providing two major OS upgrades along with three years of security updates for the device.

It is currently available only in India. No word yet if it will be available in the Philippines.
